Abstract:
Carbamoylmethylphosphine oxide(CMPO) is very efficient in chelating cations of actinides and lanthanides. In the present paper, 2 CMPO modified calix[4]arenes a(at the upper rim) and b(at the lower rim) were investigated for the extraction properties towards actinide
241Am(Ⅲ) and lanthanide
152Eu(Ⅲ). In addition, the influence of nitric acid concentration, extraction time, NaNO
3 concentration and different solvents upon extraction efficiency of
241Am/
152Eu were studied. The results show that compound a exhibits very good selectivity in extraction of
241Am(Ⅲ), and n-dodecane+n-octanol(1∶1) is more suitable as solvent. Otherwise, on condition of
c(H
+)=1-2 mol/L,10 min extraction time, NaNO
3 concentration less than 4mol/L, extraction agents achieve the best separation performance.
