质谱法标定242Pu指示剂

Calibration of 242Pu Tracer by Mass Spectrometry

  • 摘要: 将高纯242Pu浓度标准溶液与239Pu混合,质谱法测量R239/242(A)先标定四水硫酸钚中239Pu的浓度;再将四水硫酸钚与待标定的242Pu指示剂混合,测量R239/242(A),标定242Pu指示剂的浓度。质谱测量还可标定得到242Pu指示剂中的钚同位素丰度。采用两次同位素稀释质谱法标定242Pu指示剂快捷简便,可在2日内完成。测量精度高,242Pu浓度的相对合成标准不确定度为0.75%,该指示剂可满足高精度分析工作的需求。
    Abstract: 242Pu is commonly employed as tracer for determination of 239Pu in environmental samples. The 239Pu concentration in Pu(SO4)2•4H2O solution was determined by isotope dilution-mass spectrometry (ID-MS) using a high pure 242Pu spike. Then the 242Pu tracer in our laboratary was calibrated by ID-MS using the calibrated 239Pu solution as spike. By measuring the atom ratio of 239Pu to 242Pu twice by ID-MS, the concentration and abundance of the 242Pu tracer in laboratary were finally calibrated. This method was proved to be efficient with high precision. The process could be finished within two days with an uncertainty of 0.75%. The calibrated 242Pu tracer in laboratory could meet the demand of high-precision analysis.
