Abstract:
In order to eliminate CH
4, steam, O
2 in inert gas, 65%Ni-10%Cu-25%SiO
2 is prepared as impurity eliminating material by sol-gel method. At space velocity 1000 h
-1, when
φ=1%CH
4 and
φ=1%CO
2 in argon is reforming over the material, the conversion of CH
4 is higher than 81.5%. At space velocity 1000 h
-1, when the material reacts with
φ=1%O
2 in argon, the conversion of O
2 is higher than 91.8%. At space velocity 1000 h
-1, when the material reacts with
φ=1% steam in argon, the conversion of steam is higher than 91.7%. More experiments show that low concentration CH
4 can also reform with O
2 and steam over the material, and CH
4 can be eliminated by the reforming reaction.
