Abstract: China’s nuclear industry has celebrated its 60 anniversary. Among this 60 years, college level education on radiochemistry has provided considerable amount of graduates with systemic training in radiochemistry. These graduates have played important and unreplaceable role in every area of the nuclear industry. The relationship between college level education on radiochemistry and the development of nuclear industry is discussed based on the radiochemistry education in Peking University. Based on discussions, it can be suggested that prestigious universities such as Peking University in China should play the role again on radiochemistry education in the future for China’s healthy and sustainable development of nuclear industry.
