    Pyrohydrolysis of Li3AlF6 Molten Salt

    • 摘要: 为研究Li3AlF6作为LiF-BeF2模拟盐在混合熔盐中的高温水解行为,首先制备了一定比例的Li3AlF6熔盐,采用X射线衍射法(XRD)、Raman光谱和热重分析(TG-DSC)等分析手段对其结构进行了表征,并对LiF、AlF3及Li3AlF6熔盐的高温水解行为进行了研究。分析结果表明,LiF和AlF3在一定温度和摩尔比条件下可生成不同晶型的Li3AlF6,高温水解与溶解实验及离子色谱分析结果表明,Li3AlF6熔盐的高温水解产物为LiAlO2,且不含氟离子,证明在现有实验条件下可实现该氟化物到氧化物的转化,为后续高温水解实验在水法后处理流程中的应用提供了基础数据。

       

      Abstract: Here, Li3AlF6 was adopted as a substitute salt for LiF-BeF2 to study its pyrohydrolysis behavior in the mixed molten salts. Different molar rations of Li3AlF6 was firstly prepared, with its structure being characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), raman spectroscopy, thermogravimetry (TG), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) respectively. The pyrohydrolysis behavior of Li3AlF6 was carried out on our self-made apparatus. The results indicate that Li3AlF6 with different crystal structures can be synthesized by varying the conditions like temperature and LiF/AlF3 molar ratio. LiAlO2 in the absence of F- ions is confirmed to be the pyrohydrolysis product of Li3AlF6, indicating that the complete conversion of the fluorides into the corresponding oxides, which can provide fundamental information for the following experiments in the aqueous-reprocessing process.
