Abstract:
The kinetics of reactions between hydroxysemicarbazide(HSC) with water-radioactive particles (e
-aq, ·OH and ·H) as well as singleelectron oxidant ·CO
-3 during pulse radiolysis were studied. The reactions are approximately quasi-first-order reactions, and the reaction rate constants are k(e-aq)=1.41×10
8 L/(mol·s),
k(·OH)=1.05×1010 L/(mol·s),
k(·H)=2.68×10
5 L/(mol·s),
k(·CO
-3)=4.25×10
8 L/(mol·s), respectively. Among them, the reaction rate constant of HSC and ·OH is the largest, so the reaction of HSC and ·OH is the main reaction during the pulse radiolysis process.
