Abstract:
The reduction stripping behavior of high content Pu(Ⅳ) from 30%TBP/OK with HSC was investigated, and the purification efficiency of HSC for plutonium purification cycle in PUREX process was studied. The results show that HSC can effectively realize the purification of Pu. Bench-scale experiment was carried out to simulate 2B unit of PUREX, with the condition of 3 stages for supplemental extraction and 10 stages for stripping, and the flow rate ratio of 2BF∶2BX∶2BS for 1∶0.25∶0.15. The good result is achieved with the yield of more than 99.99% for Pu and the purification coefficient of uranium from plutonium(SF(U/Pu)) is 3.7×10
5. As a stripping reductant, HSC can effectively achieve the plutonium purification cycle and has application prospect in the plutonium purification cycle in APOR process.
