Abstract:
The effects of heat treatment of Fe-Al/Al
2O
3 tritium permeation barrier prepared by “ambient temperature chloroaluminate melts electroplating+heat treatment+selective oxidation” on microstructure and mechanical properties of HR-2 stainless steel were investigated by means of tensile test, microhardness test, microstructure observation. The results show that after heat treatment, the microstructure of HR-2 stainless steel is still austenite. The tensile strength, total elongation and microhardness of the steel are 580.48 MPa, 79.43%, 177.92 HV at 980 ℃ for 180 min and 616.47 MPa, 63.32% and 213.34 HV at 700 ℃ for 150 h respectively. The tritium permeation barrier heat treatment process has little effect on the properties of HR-2 stainless steel, and the properties meet the design index of microstructure and mechanics.
