Abstract:
Based on the dispersion model, sliced the pulsed extraction column, a new model and algorithm have been proposed, and a computer program is established in order to simulate the steady-state behavior of HNO
3, U(Ⅵ), Pu(Ⅳ) in the co-decontamination process. The model included the partition coefficient calculation module. The reliability of the simulation was verified by the reported parameters. It was found that the mathematical model and algorithm could simulate the multi-component extraction. The column process design was analyzed. It was found that the extraction efficiency was affected by the component concentration of the liquid. The equivalence of a single mixer-settler stage to a certain length of pulsed extraction column that was widely accepted for pulsed extraction column design seems not accurate enough. The pulsed column should be integrally designed by using a computer simulation program.
