基于变压吸附法的大气中氩室温分离方法

    Investigation of Argon Separation in the Atmosphere at Room Temperature Based on Pressure Swing Adsorption

    • 摘要: 放射性惰性气体37Ar是地下核爆炸的特征活化产物,可用于全面禁止核试验条约现场视察,为判断是否进行了可疑核爆炸提供证据。基于变压吸附原理,建立了基于LiX分子筛和4A分子筛两级变压吸附分离、结合制备色谱的空气样品中氩的室温分离纯化方法,氩回收率大于65%,氩纯度满足放射性测量要求,流程操作时间小于2h。

       

      Abstract: The radioactive noble gas 37 Ar which is characteristic activation product of underground nuclear explosion, can be used for Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization on-site inspection to verdict whether a suspicious nuclear explosion is happened. Based on the principle of pressure swing adsorption and preparative chromatogram separation, argon separation and purification method of air sample is established by using LiX zeolite and 4A molecular sieve. The recovery rate of argon is greater than 65%, and the argon purity meet the requirements of radioactivity measurement. Two hour processing time is adequate for on-site inspection.
