Abstract: The separation of americium from europium with HDEHP Levextrel is described. The distribution coefficient of Am on the Levextrel is determined, with 0.1M DTPA-1M lactic acid as the eluant. The influences of the pH values, the concentration of DTPA and the optimum condition of separation on Am/Eu separation factors are studied.
