硝酸在惰性电极上还原机理的研究

    • 摘要: 用恒电位电解法研究了室温下惰性Pt电极上硝酸的阴极过程。实验测定了阴极极化曲线和产生的阴极产物。根据所得结果,解释了电解产物与阴极电位的依赖关系和室温下各电位区间内电极过程的自催化性质。根据HNO2和HNO3的可见和紫外光谱研究,阐明了HNO2的催化作用和适当浓度的硝酸可以在惰性电极上直接还原的机理。

       

      Abstract: STUDY OF REDUCTION MECHANISM OF NITRIC ACID ON INERT PLATINUM CATHODEYe Guoan He Jianyu(China Institute of Atomic Energy,P.O.Box275 (26),Beijing 102413)ABSTRACTThe electrolytic reduction of nitric acid on inert platinum cathode at room temperature with potentiostatic method is investigated. The cathodic polarized curve is recorded and the reduction products is determined. The dependence of reduction products on cathodic potential is revealed and the autocatalytical nature of cathodic process of HNO3 is elucidated through the experiment results. The catalytical role of HNO2 is elucidated, and the mechanism of direct reduction of moderate concentrated HNO3 is demonstrated,in terms of the spectra phenomena of NO-2 and NO-3 in acidic solutions.Key words Nitric acid Nitrous acid Electrolytic reduction Reduction chain Autocatalysis Inert platinum cathode
