Abstract: Electroplated rhodium foil is employed as the target for producing palladium 103. The improved electro dissolution apparatus is found better than other dissolution methods in terms of personnel shielding and palladium 103 yield. The ion exchange column chromatography with Dowex1×8(Cl -) resin and 1 mol/L NH 4Cl 1 mol/L NH 4OH as eluant are used to separate palladium 103 from rhodium solution. The process is simple and effective for the separation.
