    AGING EFFECTS OF LaNi_(4.7)Al_(0.3) LOADED WITH DEUTERIUM TRITIUM

    • 摘要: 将氘氚装载到LaNi4.7Al0 .3 合金样品中并在室温下贮存 4 80d或 112 0d ,发现LaNi4.7Al0 .3 合金几乎能保留所有的衰变子体氦 3。通过测定氘氚化物的解吸等温线 ,观察到该合金存在显著的氚老化效应 :坪压降低 ,坪斜增加 ,可逆容量减少及被称为“渣”(heel)的深捕陷氢同位素形成。实验还发现 ,在 6 2 3K下除气可以部分消除这些老化效应。

       

      Abstract: Deuterium tritium hybrid has been loaded on some LaNi 4.7 Al 0.3 samples and stored at room temprature for 480 and 1 120 days.The LaNi 4.7 Al 0.3 deuterotritide can retain nearly all the decay 3He. The tritium aging effects are observed by determining the equilibrium desorption isotherms for the deuterotritide.These effects include:(1) a decrease in the equilibrium plateau pressure;(2) an increase in the plateau slope;(3) a reduction in the reversible storage capacity;(4) the formation of tightly bound tritium or deuterium which is often referred as the hydrogen isotopic heel. It is found that heating to 623 K and vacuuming can reverse some of the tritium aging effects.
