Abstract: STUDIES ON THE SORPTION OF I~- ON CEMENT，Fe（OH）_3 AND ROCK SALTYE YUXING（China Institute of Atomic Energy，P.O. Box 275（26） ，Beijing 102413）G.MARX；CH.KEILING（Free University，Berlin，Germany）ABSTRACT The solubilities of AgI concentrated salt solutions are determined with radiochemicalmethod．The sorption behaviors of I~- on cement，Fe（OH）_3 and rock salt in concentrated salt solu-tions are investigated with batch test．The experimental results show that in the above three sys-tems，when the concentration of I~- is 10~(-7)-10~(-4)mol／l， the sorption ratios of I~-（R_d）changewith the absorbent，but do not change with the equilibrium concentration of I~-. For low I~- con-centration sorption isotherms are linear and are in agreement with the empirical Freundlich equa-tion. Kev words Iodide Sorption Cement Fe（OH）_3 Rock salt.
