Theextraction rate is found to be pseudo-first order with respect to the concentration ofuranium( Ⅵ).At first it increases with increasing concentration of nitric acid or PSO and hasa maximum at 3.0—4.0 mol/l nitric acid and 0.3—0.4 mol/l PSO.The rate is almost inde-pendent of the extraction temperature. It is suggested that the extraction rate of uranium(Ⅵ)is controlled by the diffusion of complex UO_2(NO_3)_2·2PSO from Interface into organicphase.
