Abstract:
TTHMP (triethylenetetraaminehexamethylenephosphonic acid) is labeled with 153 Sm. The labeling condition, stability, molar ratio of 153 Sm to TTHMP, rabbit bone imaging and biodistribution of 153 Sm TTHMP in mice are investigated. The results show that weak basic media and high concentration ligands are favorable to form labeled compound, and 153 Sm TTHMP is stable at pH=7 in 7 d. The results also indicate that the mole ratio of 153 Sm TTHMP is n ( 153 Sm): n (TTHMP)=1∶1 and skeleton uptake of 153 Sm TTHMP reaches maximum value (13.96%/g) in 1 h after injection and is kept high (13.54%/g) in 48 h, while the non target tissue uptake is low. So 153 Sm TTHMP is a promising bone tumor therapeutic agent.
