Abstract: The researches on novel extractants for extraction separations of actinides in the recent ten years are reviewed. The amides and sulfoxides are mainly discussed. Substituted malonic acid amides, acidic phosphines,trialkylphosphates,diphosphine dioxides,carbamoylmethy lene phosphines oxides and 4. 4'-n-dialkyl-bis-PMPs are also discussed. Some comparisions between these novel extractants and TBP are made.
