Abstract:
Two novel complexes of uranyl nitrate and thorium nitrate with bis Schiff base derived from N,N′ bis(1 phenyl 3 methyl 5 oxo 4 pyrazolinyl)α furylmethylidyne ethylenediimine ((HPMαFP) 2en) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV, 1H NMR , 13 C NMR and molar conductance. The general formula of complexes is confirmed to be UO 2(PMαFP) 2en and Th(PMαFP) 2en(NO 3)NO 3. The antibacterial experiments indicate that they have high antibacterial activities against S. aureus, B. subtillis, E. coli, E.carotovora, C. flaccumfaciens.
