Abstract: The sorption behaviour of Cs+, Sr2+, Eu3+and Ce4+on the surface of Feldspars, Muscovite and Hornblende using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy is studied. The chemical shifts of oxygen in different minerals are observed and the sorption mechanism is discussed.
