从沥青铀矿中提取高纯~(230)Th
THE SEPARATION OF HIGH PURITY 230Th FROM PITCHBLENDE

摘要: 本文以阴离子和阳离子交换法从沥青铀矿中提取~(230)Th。由于选取了含铀很高、天然钍很低的矿石为原料,并采用简便流程,减少了分离过程中天然钍的引进,所以得到的产品中~(230)Th的含量高于见到的文献报道值。从3.5kg矿石中提取出5.75mg ~(230)Th产品。该产品经质谱分析,~(230)Th/(~(230)Th+~(232)Th=84.31%。 产品经金硅面垒型α谱仪测定,~(230)Th达到核纯;经质谱检验,在钍的谱峰周围相当宽的范围内没有发现杂质峰。Abstract: A method is described for the separation of high purity 230Th from pitchblende based on ion exchange. Since the amount of 232Th in the pitchblende is very samll, the purity of 230Th prepared by this method is higher than that reported in literature.The purity of the product is determined using α-spectrometer with a gold-silcon surface-barrier detector. The results from mass spectrometric analysis also show that no impurity is found near the Th peaks.5.75mg 230This obtained from 3.5kg pitchblende. The ratio of 230Th/(230Th + 232Th) in the product is 0.8431.The 230Th obtained has been successfully used for the determination of trace amounts of thorium in various solids and liquids by mass spectrometric isotope dilution method.
