Abstract: This paper describes systematically 147Pm separation, purification, solution constituents and its stability. The method for the preparation of standardized radioactive 147PM, solution with simple constituents is developed and established. The radioactivity of 147Pm solution is measured with both liquid scintillation counting and efficiency tracer method. The uncertainty of measurement is less than 0.5%. The results obtained in the experiment and in the applications in different laboratories during the past four years have shown that our method is effective and reliable.
