Abstract: The environmental chemistry of the actinide elements is a new branch of science developing with the application of nuclear energy on a larger and larger scale. Yarious aspects of the environmental chemistry of the actiniae, elements are briefly reviewed in this paper, such as its significance in the, nuclear waste disposal, its coverage of research fields and possible direetious for future study.
