Abstract:
Uranium isotope abundance ratios in the uranium samples are detected by MAT-262 thermol ionization mass spectrometry. Before mass spectrometry analysis, samples are dissolved in a concentrated acidic solution containing HNO_3, HF and HClO_4, and chemically processed by use of TBP chromatography and electroplate to suit the analysis requirement. Analysis results indicate that the (uranium) contents are 8×10~(-8) in the river water, 1×10~(-7) in the evergreen leaf, and (5~11)×10~(-6) in the surface soil, respectively.
