Abstract:
SYNTHESIS,CHARACTERIZATION AND DETERMINATION OF STABILITY CONSTANT OF Th4+ AND UO2+2 COMPLEXES OF NDIACETIC ACID SUBSTITUTED TETRAAZAMACROCYCLEBi Jianhong(Department of Chemistry,Anhui Institute of Education,Hefei 230061)Zhao Xiangda Xie Fuxin Ni Shisheng(Department of Chemistry,Anhui University,Hefei 230039)ABSTRACTThe solid complexes of H2L3(5,12diphneyl7,14dimethyl1,4,8,11tetraazamacrocyclotetradecaneN,N″diacetic acid) with Th4+ and H2L4(2,2,4,13,13,15hexamethyl1,5,12,16tetraazacyclodocosaneN′,Ndiacetic acid) with Th4+ and UO2+2 have been synthesized in water solutions and characterized by elemental analysis and IR spectra. The complexes have constant stoichiometry Th(H2L3)·4NO3·H2O,Th(H2L4)·4NO3·7H2O and UO2(H2L4)·2NO3·12H2O.The dissociation constants of H2L4 and the stability constants of 1∶1 complexes of H2L4 with Th4+ and UO2+2 are determined by potentiometric titration in 0.5 mol/L KNO3 solution at (25±0.1)℃.The results obtained are discussed.Key words Tetraazamacrocycle Ndiacetic acid Uranium Thorium Stability constant
