Abstract:
INVESTIGATION OF SOME NOVEL LIGANDS OF PYRUVALDEHYDE BIS(THIOSEMICARBAZONE) AS PET RADIOPHARMACEUTICALSAuthor Liu Meng (Department of chemistry,Capital University of Medicial Sciences,Beijing 100054) Liu Zhenghao (Department of chemistry,Beijing Normal University,Beijing 100875) ABSTRACT Three novel ligands of pyruvaldehyde bis(thiosemicarbazone) have been synthesized. These ligands are labeled with 64Cu.The factors that affect labeling yield are also investigated. The biodistributions of three 64Cu ligand complexes in mice are determined. The higher brain uptake with a prolonged retention time is found in case of 64CuPTSP.The results suggested that 62CuPTSP may be used as a PET tracer for cerebral perfusion and it needs more research.
