STUDY ON THE STRUCTURE OF LONG CHAIN N,NDIALKYL ALKYL AMIDES AND THEIR EXTRACTION PERFORMANCE Ⅰ.EXTRACTION OF URANIUM(Ⅵ) FROM NITRIC ACID MEDIA WITH N,NDIALKYLDODECANAMIDESun Guoxin Li Yulan Bao Borong(Shanghai Institute of Nuclear Research,the Chinese Academy of Sciences,Shanghai 201800)Cui Yu(Department of Applied Chemistry,Shandong Institute of Building Materials,Jinan 250022)ABSTRACTThree long chain alkyl amides,N,Ndiethyldodecanamide,N,Ndibutyldodecanamide and N,Ndioctyldodecanamide,are synthesized.The extraction of U(Ⅵ) from nitric acid media with all three amides diluted with kerosene is investigated respectively.The study of the dependence of extraction on the nitric acid and extractant concentrations,salt concentration in aqueous phase and the temperature are conducted.Making use of the IR spectra,the structure of the extracted species is determined.The enthalpy,ΔH,of extraction reaction is obtained and the structural effect of the amides on the extraction behavior is discussed by means of the suggested molecular modeling of the extracted species,High U(Ⅵ)Th(Ⅳ) separation factor is found with these monoamides.Key words N,Ndialkyldodecanamide U(Ⅵ) Kerosene Extraction
