从递次衰变子体的γ放射性提取同位素独立截面

    • 摘要: 研究了从放射性产物或其递次衰变子体的γ放射性测量来提取第一代产物独立截面的技术。它适用于在束快化学元素分离样品中同位素独立截面的确定。运用这套技术进行了600MeV18O轰击厚天然铅靶后分离出来的汞同位素分布的测量,共得到从180Hg至209Hg20余种同位素的独立截面

       

      Abstract: THE ABSTRACTION OF INDEPENDENT CROSSSECTIONS FROM THE ACTIVITIES OF SUCCESSIVELY DECAYED DAUGHTER NUCLEIAuthor Zheng JiwenZhang LiZhao JinhuaHu Qingyuan (Institute of Modern Physics, the Chinese Academy of Sciences,LanZhou 730000) ABSTRACT A technique for abstracting independent cross section on the basis of the activities from the observed isotope itself or its successively decayed daughter nuclei was developed.It is specially applicable for determining the independent cross sictions of the isotope products involved in quick,elementseparated samples.We have used it in the isotopedistribution measurement for Hg element produced in the reaction of 600MeV18O beam bombarding on thick natural lead target,and a total of Hgisotope independent cross sections more than twenty were obtained in the mass range of 180209.Some representive examples showing how we deduced these independent cross sections are given in this paper.
