Abstract:
A new solid complex of Gd(Ⅲ) with Schiff base(HL) derived from 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde and 4-aminoantipyrine is synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV and molar conducivity analysis. The composition of the complex is confirmed to be [Gd(HL)(C_2H_5OH)(H_2O)_2](NO_3)_3.The thermodecomposition kinetics of the complex for the first stage and third stage is studied under non-isothermal condition by TG and DTG methods. The kinetic equations may be expressed as : d a/ d t=A ·e ~(-E/RT)·3/2(1-a)~(2/3)[1-(1-a)~(1/3)]~(-1), d a/ d t=A ·e ~(-E/RT)·1/2(1-a)[- ln (1-a)]~(-1)。
