Abstract:
COMPLEX REACTIONS OF DTPA WITH URANIUM、NEPTUNIUM AND PLUTONIUM ⅢOXIDATIONREDUCTION REACTIONS IN TBPDTPAU、Np、Pu SYSTEMWu Qiulin(Institute of Nuclear Energy Technology,Tsinghua University,Beijing 102201)Chen Shuming Li Guanghong(Beijing Institute of Nuclear Engineering,Beijing 100840)ABSTRACTSome oxidationreduction reactions in the complexextraction systems of TBPDTPAU,Np,Pu have been investigated.The results show that Np(Ⅴ),Np(Ⅵ) and Pu(Ⅳ) can be rapidly reduced to Np(Ⅳ) and Pu(Ⅲ) by U(Ⅳ) in the TBPDTPA system.In such a system U(Ⅳ) can be rapidly oxidized by H2O2 to U(Ⅵ),but the oxidation reactions for Np(Ⅳ) and Pu(Ⅲ) are relatively slow.Pu(Ⅲ) can be oxidized to Pu(Ⅵ),while Np(Ⅳ) can only be oxidized to Np(Ⅴ).Key words Dietylenetriaminepentaacetic acid(DTPA) Uranium Neptunium Plutonium Oxidationreduction reaction
