      Abstract: In this work, the forward and backward average projectional recoil ranges (R) of the residual 64Cu and 24Na with respect to neutron beam direction respectively in the 65Cu (n, 2n) 64Cu and 27Al (n, α) 24Na reactions induced by D-T neutrons were determined by thick-target-thick-catcher method. The results are RF = 73.8±13.1μg/cm2, RB = 10.0±5.1 μg/cm2 for 64Cu in Cu-target and RF = 282.9±11.0 μg/cm2, RB=20.0±3.4 μg/cm2 for 24Na in Al-target.
