STUDYONBURDENFORMULATIONFORPYROLYSINGANDINCINERATINGSPENTTBP/OKHeZhouguo(ChinaInstituteofAtomicEnergy,P.O.Box275(93),Beijing102413)ABSTRACTDuringtheprocessofpyrolysisandincinerationofradioactivespentTBP/OK(tributylposphate/kerosene),TBPisdecomposedinthereactorintoP2O5,H3PO4andsoon,whichareseriouslycorrosive.Inordertoconvertthesecorrosivematerialsintoundissolvablecalciumphosphateorcalciumpyrophophateandseparatethemfromthereactorintheformofsolid,Ca(OH)2powdersareaddedtotheburden.Withtheadditionofsuitableemulsifier(surfac-tant),theTBP/OK-H2OsystemisemulsifiedandhomogeneouslymixedwithCa(OH)2pow-derstoformastableburden,whichcanbekeptfor72hourswithoutphaseseparation.Theburdencanbetransportedviapipelinesbypump.Furthermore,thestabilityandfluidityoftheburdencanbeadjustedforthecompletepyrolysisandincineration.KeywordsTBP/OKBurdenPyrolysis-incinerationPhosphorus-fixingagentEmulsifier
