Abstract: Great changes of uranium isotope separation methods have been made in the past 10 years.In this part of the paper, uranium enrichment plants in the whole world are summarized.The status and future prospect of different methods in 12 countries which produce enriched uranium are discussed and the strategic plans and projects in some countries are outlined.Finally, a brief summary is given comparing the technical and economic sides of the main uranium enrichment methods.
