Abstract
Sorption behavior of Am(Ⅲ) on granite powder in Beishan BS03 well groundwater was investigated by a batch technique in argon atmosphere at constant temperature. Experimental results show, sorption Kd values of Am(Ⅲ) on granite increase with the increase of temperature which indicates this sorption reaction is endothermic reaction. The possible sorption mechanism was discussed. The main sorption mechanism of Am(Ⅲ) on granite is surface complexation and the synthetical sorption is irreversible.
