Progress on Evaluation and Treatment of Large-Area Surface Radioactive Contamination

The origins and harms of large-area surface radioactive contamination is summarized, and especially the contamination level and treatment methodology of large-area radioactive surface contamination resulting from nuclear tests around the world are reviewed. The treatment path and technique suggestions for surface radioactive contamination in the Chinese atmospheric nuclear test site are proposed.
