Preparation of Impurity Elimination Material for Inert Gas Containing Tritium

In order to eliminate CH4, steam, O2 in inert gas, 65%Ni-10%Cu-25%SiO2 is prepared as impurity eliminating material by sol-gel method. At space velocity 1000 h-1, when φ=1%CH4 and φ=1%CO2 in argon is reforming over the material, the conversion of CH4 is higher than 81.5%. At space velocity 1000 h-1, when the material reacts with φ=1%O2 in argon, the conversion of O2 is higher than 91.8%. At space velocity 1000 h-1, when the material reacts with φ=1% steam in argon, the conversion of steam is higher than 91.7%. More experiments show that low concentration CH4 can also reform with O2 and steam over the material, and CH4 can be eliminated by the reforming reaction.
