Progress in Solid Tritium Breeder Materials

The breeding blanket is a key component of the fusion reactor because it directly involves tritium breeding and energy extraction. Tritium breeding material is one of the most important functional materials. Herein, we reviewed the trends in solid tritium breeder development, including the fabrication, properties and modification. Meanwhile, the focus of the solid tritium breeder materials were prospected based on the current research situation.
