    Catalytic Activity of Ordered-Bed Catalyst for LPCE

    • The counter-flow method was used to study the catalytic performance of the Pt/C/PTFE ordered-bed catalysts for the isotopic exchange reactions between hydrogen gas and HDO water. The results show that the catalytic activity of Pt/C/PTFE ordered-bed catalysts is very high at high gas flow rate and the Pt/C/PTFE appeared good hydrophobic performance. The Kya values for two kinds of the Pt/C/PTFE ordered-bed catalysts tested are more than 1.12 m3 (STP)/(s•m3) (50 mol/(m3•s)). Flooding mode was not observed when gas flow rate is equivalent to linear velocities of 1.0 m/s and the mole gas to liquid rate ratio is 1.
