Abstract
Focused on the environmental soil sample contaminated by spent fuel, a Pm separation procedure was established with a recovery greater than 70% for Pm and the decontamination factor greater than 103 for the interference elements. The activity of 147Pm standard sample was determined by liquid scintillation counting (LSC) with the efficiency tracing method (ETM), giving a relative deviation less than 0.5%. The analysis method of 147Pm was validated for simulated polluted soil sample (prepared by mixing the spent fuel with environmental soil) and the results are in good agreement with the referenced data with a relative deviation of 2%.
