Abstract
The main error of deuterium quantitative analysis of deuterium depleted water(DDW) is from memory effect and instrument accuracy. In order to analyze hydrogen isotopes of DDW more accurately and rapidly, IRMS with hydrophobic platinum catalytic H2-H2O equilibration method was applied. The results of the analysis of standard water samples, DDW and distilled water show that the measurements of standard water samples are all in the range of certified values, while the relative standard deviations (sr) of the detection values of DDW and distilled water are less than 1% (n≥5). Therefore, it is proved that the method reduces the error from memory effect and instrument accuracy, which provides the incensement of the dependability and stability of DDW detection.
