    Present Situation of Research of Computer Simulation of Stripping of Plutonium by Chemical Reduction in PUREX Process

    • PUREX has been a dominant process in nuclear fuel reprocessing industry. The computer simulation of PUREX has been a research hot spot. In some other countries, computer simulation of complete flow scheme has been realized, and the simulation program can be used in analyzing the influence of input parameter on PUREX and optimizing the input parameter of PUREX. Uranium and plutonium separation unit(1B) and plutonium stripping unit(2B) are critical part of PUREX. The computer simulations of them are based on plutonium stripping chemical reduction model. This paper reviews the recent process of the model of the plutonium stripping by chemical reduction model, focuses on the model and algorithm.
