    Progress of Amidoxime Polymer for Uranium Extraction From Seawater

    • Amidoxime polymer is one of the most effective material which applied to the extraction of uranium from seawater at present. In this review, the research progress is summarized in terms of the synthesis methods of amidoxime polymer, which are monomer copolymerization, polymer-modified and polymer blending. Herein, current status of studies on amioxime polymer among uranium extraction materials was described. The adsorbent material with high uranium retention capacity, high selectivity and high handling capacity, which natural green raw materials as base material, will be the major research direction of this field in the future.
