Abstract
An investigation was made on the formation of complexes between acetohydroxamic acid and UO2+2,Zr(Ⅳ) ions. The stability constants of the complexes of zirconium ion and uranyl ion with acetohydroxamic acid were determined by using the distribution method and the pHpotentiometric method respectively. The values of the stepwise stability constant thus obtained are the following: β1(Zr(Ⅳ))=(6.7±0.1)×1013, β2(Zr(Ⅳ)) =(1.8±0.1)×1025, β3(Zr(Ⅳ))=(3.8±0.3)×1035; β1(UO2+2)=(8.6±0.4)×107, β2(UO2+2)=(3.8±0.1)×1014.
