Abstract
Carrier-free radioisotope 101mRh was obtained by bombardment of ruthenium with 7.8 MeV proton from a cyclotron using nuclear reaction 101Ru (p, n) 101mRh. The thick target yield of reaction was 3.4 μCi/μA·h. Distillation and coprecipitation methods were used for the separation of carrier-free Rh radionuclides from proton-irradiated ruthenium with a chemical yield of 101mRh better than 97%.
