Chemical Properties of Superheavy Elements

The present status of the chemical properties investigation for superheavy elements are described in this paper. The synthesis of superheavy elements and the experimental techniques used in studying superheavy elements chemistry are briefly introduced. The current experimental studies about the aqueous chemistry of Rf, Db, Sg and the gas-chromatography of Rf, Db, Sg, Bh, Hs and element 112 are discussed in detail. Finally, the development of synthesis and study of chemical properties of superheavy elements in China are given.
