EXTRACTION MECHANISM OF Sc(III) FROM SUL- PHURIC ACID SOLUTION BY PRIMARY AMINE N_(1923)

The extraction mechanism of Sc(III) from sulphuric acid solution by primary amine N1923(RNH2) has been investigated by means of slope, isomolar continuous variation and saturation methods. The reaction is as follows:The effect of temperature on the extraction of Sc(III) is observed. The extraction equilibrium constant and thermodynamic functions(△H,△S and △G)are obtained. The IR and NMR of extracted compound are measured.
