    SEPARATION OF Am, Cm AND Cf WITH α-HMBA SOLUTION BY HIGH PRESSURE CATION EXCHANGE ELUTION CHROMATOGRAPHY

    • The effects of different factors such as concentration of α-HMSA, pH value of the eluate, flow rate and temperature on the separation of Am, Cm and Cf in the pressurized cation exchange-α-HMBA system are investigated with the following experimental conditions: Y2x8(l5-30μm) resin;chromato-graphy column with inner diameter 2mm, height 450 mm; eluate-0.30 mol/1 α-HMBA-pH 4.10; flow rate-5.0 cm/min and t=50℃.Under these conditions, the separation coefficients are 1.68 for Am-Cm, and 3.46 for Cm-Cf. .
