    INSTRUMENTAL AND RADIOCHEMICAL NEUTRON ACTIVATION ANALYSIS OF LAYERED CHONDRULES FROM ALLENDE METEORITE

    • Samples of layered chondrules from allende meteorite are analysed by instrumental and radiochemical neutron activation analysis for Al,Au,Ca, Ce, Co,Cr,Dy,Eu, Fe; Gd, Ho, Ir, La, Lu, Mg, Mn, Na,Nd, Ni, Sc, Sm, Tb, Ti, V and Yb. The distribution and relative position of these elements in the rims and core of layered chondrule can provide some evidence for studying chondrule formation.
