    THE SYNERGISTIC EXTRACTION OF URANYL ION BY DI (2-ETHYLHEXYL)PHOSPHATE (HDEHP) AND DC18C6(B).

    • The synergistic extraction of uranyl ion from inorganic acid (HNO3, HC1 and H2SO4) into nitrobenzene by DC18C6 and HDEHP is studied. Experimental results indicate that the synergistic extraction reaction is as follows :The estimated values of the equilibrium constants K12 of the synergistic extraction reaction respectively are 4.85×106, 2.39×10s and 1.91×105 in the nitric, hydrochloric and sulphuric acid solutions.
