MIGRATION STUDIES OF FISSION PRODUCTS NUCLIDES IN ROCKS Ⅱ. DIFFUSION AND PERMEABILITY OF NUCLIDE ~(134)Cs IN GRANITE

    • The migration behaviour of 134Cs, representing the long-lived fission product 137Cs, in Beijing granite was studied by means of diffusion and permeability measurement in the self-designed cells. An intrinsic diffusion coefficient Di of 2. 24×10-13 m2/s and a specific permeability K0 of 2×10-18 m2 were found. The experimental techniques and results were presented and discussed in detail.
